Dr. Francis Camillo is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon. He spent 14 years in academic practice, acting as an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Camillo joined Spine Specialty Center in 2018.

Dr. Camillo has written multiple chapters and published multiple papers on spine surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. His medical education was at New York Medical College where he went on and did his orthopedic residency as well. Dr. Camillo did a fellowship in spine surgery at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center/Campbell Clinic.

Dr. Camillo treats all ailments of the spine including adult degenerative disease, lumbar spinal stenosis, cervical spinal stenosis, lumbar disc herniations, cervical disc herniations, kyphoplasty for compression fractures. He has hospital affiliations with Baptist, Methodist, as well as St. Francis.
